About Alex

I have had the privilege and opportunity to work in the technology and professional services industries for over 20 years. In the various roles I’ve enjoyed, I have had a continued passion for international business and for playing a part in helping both people and companies grow. Even now as part of emergn I still spend time doing lots of executive coaching and mentoring and am grateful that I can give back some of the learnings that have shaped my career.

In the varying leadership roles I’ve had, they have included everything from business development with an operational slant to running change programs and designing business processes. Working with several global service providers has allowed me to gain an appreciation for what enterprise clients really want from their vendors and partners and it has served me well in leveraging that experience to challenge the status quo of consulting and it all eventually led to starting emergn Limited.

My priorities are faith, family and focusing on doing great work. At times it requires tough decisions to pull ahead and stretch yourself and others around you and often times you can be misunderstood but in it all I’ve cultivated trusted relationships with colleagues, customers and personal friends. Much of it is about community and serving one another to help people succeed.

Ultimately, as far as business is concerned, I’m interested in ensuring the companies and people I work with can realize their maximum potential and this involves applying a strong work ethic, being teachable and making continued investments.
